The Officers have been working on getting our tax status changed from a 501c7 (club) to a 501c3 (charity). The final steps in this are making some changes to the bylaws and the articles of incorporation to make the organization be more like a charity and less like a club.

The bylaws just need approved by the officers to be accepted, but one of the big changes is removing member voting. Because of this, the law firm we've been working with has said we need to have our members approve removing that right. We'll talk through thy whys and the wherefors in…
